So maybe dear people dont destroy the few crops from other Biomes
I use the iron sledge to destroy those rock towers in the black forest, super satisfying as well :D
wut?
Admittedly, I use crop replant mod now but before started using that, would just stand in my crop area of 9 plants and just hold E down to gather them all.
Personally, I like how its designed, planting and harvesting is a nice calming tedium, one might say relaxing, in judging the spacing and minding the rows; in contrast with the hypersensitive alertness and adrenaline rush of trying to sneak past enemies so far from home.
Characters in Valheim are vikings and vikings were primarily farmers. They were not very far above subsistence level farmers given the climate of their homelands but they were primarily farmers.
Vikings, like other people, wished to be wealthy. They were not going to get rich farming. Their growing season was short so they hit upon the idea of visiting other people in the off-season. People who lived in better areas for farming and could acquire wealth.
Visit them, give them a few whacks with an axe, and take their precious possessions. Perhaps take a few of the more docile other people home to help with the vikings' primary vocation: farming.
