Nostalgic

This is a great remaster. (is it a remaster or am I incorrect? please tell me in the comments.)

I played the original Witch's House when it was a free RPGMaker game back in the 2010's, and this is a really good enhanced version.
There is a whole new mode and difficulty setting, it has controller support (which is fantastic).
The art is more upscaled and detailed, the puzzles are a little different (in a good way).
The game still keeps you on your toes at every turn, and is still JUST AS GRUESOME as the original IF NOT MORE!

The new mode is a great addition to the base game, it gives a little more lore and immerses the player a little more which is honestly fantastic. It doesn't change the weight of the base game carries with its already very interesting story.

My only complaint is NO ACHIEVEMENTS ): (pls add achievements)

Honestly i'm super happy with this version and The creators should be really proud of themselves here <3

I completed it and got the First Ending and thought, "Huh. That was kind of anti-climatic. I wonder why so many people revere this game."

Then I got the True Ending and it completely clicked. Game is worth it for that alone, besides being a pioneer of the RPGMaker Horror Genre.
