I do wonder though, does this mean I should never use Directx11 again?
I usually preferred that option so I could get the RE2-Framework running (which requires Directx11). It's still better than having the game crashing, of course. Thank you again.
You can still use directx11, just run the game a bit and then swap the directx versions in the options. Think this may be a bug in the latest drivers (nvidias) as some people are encountering this. hope this is fixed in the next update as its annoying. Some people have rolled back to earlier versions.

Texture Quality - is also High (8 GB)
