Potential Black Screen Issue Fix

Simply don't press anything while the game is booting until first time set up appears. If you have a controller plugged in, unplugging it temporarily may help, but I didn't need to do that to get past the bug.

You can also try: Disable Steam Overlay
Disable Steam input
Restart PC
Run Steam/The game as admin
Turn off Vysnc initially (probably need to use nvidia control panel for this since you can't get to the options menu.)
Also under in your nvidia control panel under manage 3d settings restored to default
Verify Game Files

Hey everyone not sure if people are still having problems with this issue what I found was a good temporary solution as of today was to turn off GPU Hardware Accelaration in the windows settings I found my game to boot up no worries after that at all and it was working with out having the game launch as administrator or having to have the controller unplugged when you launch the game at least for me I hope that this may help some of you play this awesome game
