Active Shooter

The ♥♥♥♥ dude
I love offensive humor as much as the next guy but you're dense as hell if you cant see why a pay to play school shooting simulation game might be taking it a step to far |D

1.You can't kill kids
2.This game is marketed as a SWAT game which has two dynamic sides

Alright but consider this

Nobody is playing it for an educational swat game experience

Everyone supporting it in the thread just wants to be edgy and "hur hur look im shooting up a school xd"

Not only that, but its just really poor timimg for a game like this to happen when school shootings are happening left and right, you cant make something like this and then get surprised it pisses people off.

Like i said, im all for jokes and memes about offensive and controversial topics, but making an actual game, that you have to pay for none the less, is a little ♥♥♥♥ed up.

Well, I for one am looking foward to a dynamic Swat-type game, the last Swat game that was actually good was SWAT 4, released more than a decade ago, so there is room for innovation, and considering how many people still play Swat 4 multiplayer, I wouldn't say "Nobody is playing it for an educational swat game experience". As for the edge, it's a video game, it's 100% ficticious in nature. This game isn't even that edgy in terms of its design, Hatred however was the ♥♥♥♥ing edgiest game ever. Back in the 90's, a ♥♥♥♥ ton of controversial games relating to mass-shootings and carnage (Postal 1, 2, Carmageddon, etc) were released and crime has actually DECREASED in America since then. Congratulations, you get your "not as bad as it coulda been" badge for playing it as a swat game.

Even still, those games were both of a much different era where a lot of edgy experimental ♥♥♥♥ was getting released. My point on the poor timing of this game still stands, there was a school shooting where 8 people died not even a week ago, 22 shootings just this year alone. I really just cant wrap my head around you guys being so surprised that this game is getting poorly recieved.

I can see your point about the untimely release date, but to judge the game on its own values would render it far more inoffensive than games that have actually been released like hatred. You have to look at these things with a relative sense to endorse a sense of consistency.
can you imagine getting this triggered over a videogame?

its not an insult. you are seething over something because you fail to distinguish fantasy from reality like most liberals. you're right, this game is very problematic for someone like you

Morality is a subjective entity, as far as I'm concerned there exists no international global basis of a moral standard hence why I'm defending the game, it's not even marketed as a school shooter game, you can play as either a SWAT officer or the shooter; it's an immersive play on a genre that is waiting to be revitalized as the last successful swat game was SWAT 4, released more than a decade ago.
