It's ok James didn't get hit in the head so he can now be a real walker.

1. I'd ratherlet Clem kill Lilly not AJ
2. What's the point of keeping James alive if he is gonna hate us for turning AJ into a killer , James is gonna probably leave us later anyways

I think it’s because half of the people didn’t want AJ to become a killer which is 100% understandable and James was the one who told him to not shoot in the first place.

No one knew that he'll die so we didn't want AJ to be a killer. I thought we had it under control and that Lily really gave up

I did not want that 'something' inside of AJ to break, and like the person above said, it was James himself who supported sparing Lilly. It was not an easy decision though, as I could tell Lilly was lying through her teeth and I had managed to spoil myself to the outcome :/

The overall ending will prob be AJ doing smth, if he kills Lilly he will most likely do something more drastic in the final ep. As well as not making him believe there is life as a walker and that it isnt something to worry about. James said it and died protecting what he believed in. James got killed by his own stupidity not because AJ didnt shoot Lilly. Best ending is when James dies.
