HITMAN 2 Hotfix Incoming [Now Released!]

We’re preparing to release a hotfix for PC to address two critical that we’ve seen reported since launch. We are looking to release this update in the morning of Friday 16 November (CET time) unless something comes up unexpectedly.

We expect the download to be approximately 200mb and these are the issues that are being addressed:

HDR Fix
We’ve made a change to our HDR setup on PC. It is now possible to play HITMAN 2 in HDR in Exclusive Fullscreen. For this to work, it is necessary to disable the ‘HDR and WCG’ option in Windows 10 under the ‘Display’ menu.
We’re continuing to work on and improve this feature in future updates.

Phenom CPU Fix
We’ve fixed an issue that could cause players with an AMD Phenom CPU to crash to desktop when launching a HITMAN 2 mission. This issue should no longer occur.

We’re giving you this heads-up to set some expectations. We’re also continuing to look at all issues reported.

Thank you! I do have to ask about the possible memory leak on PC? I have 16 GB of RAM on an i4790k and GTX 1070 system. I noticed my RAM usage in the 14 - 15 GB range after 30 minutes of gameplay using medium to high settings. There have been similar reports of this as well. Will this be addressed in subsequent updates?

Next thing I hope will be DirectX12 support. Game doesn't run well without it

8700K (overclocked to 4.8 GHz), 1080 Ti is struggling to hold 60 fps at regular 1080p in some maps.. which is unacceptable. I even saw a guy with 8700K and 2080 Ti have same issue, our GPUs are not even stressed but it drops under 50 frames at worst

For Ryzen owners will be even worse

I've tried downloading it three times already. Also cleared the download cache. The download starts and then cancels itself. And now it's indefintely pre-allocating a 30GB download for some reason. Looks like I'll get to enjoy re-downloading the entire game. This will be fun. Guess I'll be playing in a few hours rather than now.

Update: Even better, it's forcing me to download the Legacy missions which I don't want, so now I have to waste an entire day where I coluld have been playing this game and instead I'm redownloading a game I already downloaded, in addition to being forced to download some old missions I have zero interest in playing.

I hope you will fix NPC behaviors. NPC is often double dialoging and sometimes NPC is treating me like a stranger even though I am disguised as someone they are supposed to meet.

What about the insane RAM usage? Just a way to toggle off the antialiasing would probably help a lot.

I'm crashing to desktop whenever I load Miami. I'm using an i7 4770k and tried numerous things to fix (new drivers, redownload map, save files etc) but to no avail.
