[Request] Multiple save game slots in Master mode
I'd really like to play the missions in Master mode, but it's not easy to find the time to do a multihour playiing session. I understand that one save game is sort of like "Iron Man" mode, but it also means I cannot resume where I left the game, in case I have to interrupt my playing session. It would be great if there was either an option to have more savegames (or unlimited ones) in Master mode, or at least have it save the progress when I quit the mission, so that I can resume.

Its part of the baked in difficulty of the mode. You can't keep saving and reloading from that save to recover from errors.

Play on Professional if this is the case, and reserve playing master mode for your more focused, "I'm gonna play this mission exactly this way and finish it in 6 minutes" playthroughs.

IOI Please add a 4th 'custom' difficulty option, call it Rogue Agent or something

If leaderboards are an issue just disable them for custom

It's possible to have unlimited saves if you're willing to use Cheat Engine. I've been using my own script for a while now without problems.

you really do not need any more saves on master, ive beat every mission SA SO on master and the one save is all i ever needed and i only used it for escaping.
I see your point, yeah its gonna take more time to figure out how to deal with the extra guards and cameras and all the other things but thats just how it is man, You dont have to play on master, isnt the only reward the coins and (imo, ugly) suitcase?

What exactly is stopping you from pausing the game and unpausing it later?

You should work for Blizzard's PR department

I don't understand the reference. Did Blizzard make a game recently where you can't pause or something? Aren't they the World of Warcraft people?

They recently announced Diablo for mobile and when the audience jeered they infamously replied "Do you guys not have phones?".

I just found the solution to 'can't save' being 'can you not pause?' funny and similar

No mission should take a multi-hour playing session to beat on Master.

I think there is a pretty big difference between a company that doesn't get that real gamers don't care about silly phone games and telling someone who apparently exits out of a game entirely whenever the doorbell rings to simply pause the game instead like a normal person.

What mission in this game takes more than 20 minutes to finish that would require multiple save points?

I don't typically even save unless I'm going for a specific set of challenge completions and want a quick restart spot for branching challenges without a full mission restart, and the majority of those are better done on professional not master

I wouldn't mind this! I wouldn't mind using cheat engine for it either, honestly, but I have no idea how! Not for the unlocks or anything, it'd just be nice to experiment and play the game semi casually on Master mode instead, since it has all those new guards and cameras and stuff to toy with.

There's an actual casual setting if you want to play casual, or play professional

FFS bypassing the difficulty in master means you dont f@!#$% deserve to be playing on master
