I used an editor, I don't know if you played my other RPG "Cursed Lands" but in practice I wrote the Naga subplot/romances plus several scenes myself using that editor and people seemed to like it.
As for the plot for sure is MUCH longer - the first game is not even long 1/5 of this one.
Maybe you can read some reviews ?
Then again, I remembered that I endured the whole Star Trek The Original Series some time ago and its screenplay is rather, well, naive by modern standarts. But The Next Generation is a real gem despite its shortcomings (and nothing is perfect, which makes art human, I think). So I decided to give the first Planet Stronghold another chance and to learn more about its lore before going to the second game, which, I hope, for me will be The Next Generation of your series.
Sorry for taking your time. I guess I shoud've thought this through before creating a tread. =D But thank yoy again for replying - I'll definitely buy PS2.
And as I'm getting older I find myself liking sci-fi more and more compared to fantasy, so its truly saddening that the game of this genre doesn't get you good sales.( But anyway, I'm re-e-eally looking forward to Loren 2, and I wish you good luck in all your endeavors.
Considering a single route in this game is longer than all routes in past game I find this a bit difficult to believe :D
Unless you refer to Planet Stronghold: Colonial Defense? but the original question was about Planet Stronghold 1, not the spin-off card game.
And I really like pro-Empire plot start - it adds to the conflict and drama. In short, I'm quite impressed so far.

But anyway, all in all it was a great adventure. =) Now I'm going to hunt for the achievements.
