DBZ Kakarot is the best Dragon Ball game out there that focuses on a single player experience rather than being a PvP game. The game covers all of DBZ from the arrival of the saiyans to the Buu saga and even throws in a couple of references to OG Dragon Ball. It's a blast to play through the main campaign and many of the side stories are fun as well, sometimes adding in extra context for background events during the story.

The gameplay is fairly good as well but has some annoyances that keep it from being a perfect game. And there are a few inexplicably missing features like not being able to change your outfit at all. However I still recommend this game for all Dragon Ball fans. It's a blast to play through.



PS- The game is called Kakarot but you play as Gohan for 90% of the story for obvious reasons. It was actually surprising to realise just how long Goku is incapacitated throughout DBZ when it's put into game form.
