So the Switch version is abandoned now? Seems that way. As the devs have vanished. And still bugs, numerous fixes that should still be addressed. At least if one cares to be a professional dev, that is. But seems like many that come over to Switch nowadays.... Are strictly a money grab.
(1.) I would love when I spend countless time collecting, growing resources to make pies... That ALL those pies cooking would not simply vanish out of the oven.
MASSIVE BUG NEEDS ATTENTION!
(2.) Furnace has loss all color and texture. Just a white blob now. Does not matter if I make new ones.
(3.) Tired of my farm area just vanishing. invisible. Sometimes I see it.. But majority of the time, I just get to guess ..
I know there are also other issues. Just not going to list them all, since it won't matter most likely. I stepped away from the game and come back to see if it gets taken care of, so I can enjoy the game I cared about. But guess I might as well not care, as it seems it is forgotten. Sad, it should of been so much more on Switch. Guess I might as well forget it, like the devs.
As for myself, I do not brown nose and these devs are professionals? Are they not?
Is this not their job, career and their passion? Am I not a paying customer, like many SWITCH customers. Never mind I also paid twice since I own it on pc and Switch. Doubt many have done that.
And why do I need to kiss anyones A** when I should be able to play a cozy game on my Switch and not pc. Sorry, pc ain't that cozy. And maybe the devs should communicate more regularly, instead of allowing their immature mods to attack anyone who has issues.
Which has happened more than once.
The Switch version HAS BEEN ABANDONED for a few years now. And I still try to play around all the bugs, glitches and broken unplayable dungeon.,
Imagine being a professional company selling a broken product? EXAMPLE FOR THE SLOW PEOPLE: Your phone, tv any number of items sold daily. Now imagine that item being broken and the company not fixing it, being silent and so on.........
Yeah, i will wait....
Wait! That doesn't happen. Because people would not allow those actions from ANY company. But yet DEVS who MAKE this their job, career and or passion can?
Patience is one thing, specially over years and there is a time when people need to own up and actually care for THEIR WORK, like they do on pc! And stop using the Switch or any other console has a cash cow. In honesty, doubt the game did well on Switch. Which is sad. Because it really should of. If it had the proper tlc over the last 3 years....
People who don't agree with that, well... Says a lot about you as well.
There are two things wrong with your post. One, the switch version hasn't been abandoned for years. The last update was in Oct 2022 (so it has been over a year, but that's not years). They are working on updating though but since switch is not nearly as powerful as a pc, it has to be severely optimized for it to work properly, which requires a lot of work and it's only one dev working on the update for switch.
Second, you say "immature mods". I'm the only moderator in the discord server now and I sure have never spoken to you. I even looked through your past posts and don't see you've even spoken with past mods, so I don't appreciate that when you obviously have had no interaction with mods to be making that assumption.
In the future, it's best if you reach out asking about the update in a nice way and you'll get a nice response back. Your first post said to not bother to respond unless it's the dev so of course no one cared to respond to you. But if you had just asked, we would have been happy to give you any update. It's not hard to be nice.
