Game won't launch

I haven't played the game in awhile, today I tried to play and the game just won't launch. I tried verifying the files and that didn't work.



Ryzen 1800x
Radeon 5700 xt
64 gb ram
Windows 10


If anyone has any ideas let me know.

This is actually a very common issue. It can't be resolved by any means that I know of, but I had to restart DOA about 7 or 8 times in a row yesterday just to get it to load once. Also, I'm using an Nvidia video card and (unfortunately) an Intel CPU, so the problem's not your hardware.

Yeah. Don't use radeon software 2020 if you want to play this game.

With the new drivers the game does not work.

submit issue to amd (you can do it via driver browser), it's on them to fix.
no matter how bad TN as a dev, this issue is on AMD cuz they just released a driver that screwed over various stuff including different games (see their forums lol). and knowing AMD, unless a lot of people will nag them about it, they not gonna hurry with fixing their stuff.

♥♥♥♥, I updated my drivers today and I cannot play this anymore. Hope AMD can deal with this soon enough.

Someone dropped the ball big time on that new 2020 19.12.2 driver on AMD part. The only way you can play DOA6 with this driver is if you visualize. Will go back to 19.12.1 driver for now.

Same thing on RX580 with RS2020. Well first version of new overhauled AMD drivers always causing troubles

Not going back using the 2019 drivers , after using these 2020 drivers. Hopefully a fix is in the next update, because i can't run doa6 as well. DOA5 is working just fine.
