It doesn't give away the DLC for the first game so much, there are just a few vague references, but it expects you to either know the first game or not care about having it spoiled.
This sounds so stupid to me.
Why not just play the first one instead of streaming the demo to the sequel...?
If you play TP2, the game will give you the opportunity to learn everything that happened in TP1 at the beginning when you talk to the first NPC, so you will miss that original experience, which is quite interesting. But even though it's interesting and exciting, it's not something that's going to change your life, in the end it's just entertainment, so play whatever is most convenient for you.
Play TP1. It's fantastic.
That's the first game, the DLC and later Talos Principle 2
But I know some people like it just for the puzzle solving, it won't spoil that part for you. The story was huge part of the charm of the game for me though.
good idea. Talos 1 has a brilliant story if you'd go the extra mile of reading all the ingame documents and audio logs as well as talking with the computer. stuff that won't be as surprsing as captivating if you play the 2nd first
