System Data is corrupt, cant start the game
So, i bought La Mulana bundle ( La Mulana and La Mulana 2 ) yesterday and i cant start the game at all. It says that the system data is corrupt and asks if i want to create system data , when i click ok, it just asks if i want to start the game without system data and the whole thing repeats.

No matter what i choose, no matter how many times the game is installed, no matter of which drive it is installed to and no matter how often i verify the files. Its not working.

There are ppl with the same error in here, and some of them could solve it by unplugging usb controllers or some similar crap. i have none of those. Any ideas ?

Since the game is made in Unity, it might be an engine-specific problem. That controllers were involved sounds like some sort of configuration issue. Maybe check forums that deal with Unity to see if this is a more widespread problem?

I encountered this issue and was stuck on it for a long time. It turns out, when presented with the message about system data, I was selecting an answer and then pressing the 'X' key, which is apparently the "cancel" key. This leads to the follow-up question which I was also pressing 'X' for, leading to this save data fail loop.

Once I realized what was going on, I answered the question by pressing 'Z' instead, which is the confirm button.

If you encounter this situation, make sure you're pressing your 'confirm' button instead of your 'cancel' button.
