This is a stiff boiler plate version of Animal Crossing that I cannot recommend in good faith to fans of the genre. There are much better adaptations or iterations of the Animal Crossing formula that I'd rather put my stamp of recommendation on. This game does attempt to make it's self stand out as unique but, eh, it doesn't do anything special enough to really make it a better option. In fact some aspects of the game are just outright worse. Some aspects are better, but it's not nearly enough for me to be like "Oh yeah, this is the one". Explore other options before settling on this one. It's jank, kind of soulless and lacking identity. Maybe a Hokko Life sequel will improve upon the bones of this poor imitation.

Game is dead. Last actual update was a small hotfix in q1 2023. The only real selling point with the game is the ability to make furniture from scrap and design clothes, and it's clear that the devs don't plan on doing anything more with this game other than these boring ass "Creator Challenges". The game is pretty much lifeless. Which is a shame, because it had potential to not be boring after 5 hours of gameplay. Save your money, or go play Dinkum instead, that game at least still gets real updates.
