Hello... I just saw a gameplay video of this one and I find it very interesting... Althoug, as the title says, do you plan to release for Linux as well?

Sorry for a late reply, we have been busy working on the Playable Teaser which is being released on Aug 13th!

I don't think I'm the best option to help you beta test this cool looking game (my free time is scarce and my hardware is rather outdated), however, I contacted Liam from https://www.gamingonlinux.com and maybe he will give you some exposure on our eager (and loud) Linux community, :) ... Hopefully, soon you will have plenty of people eager to help!

Thank you for your help. Sure, I am going to write him about Ellen and maybe test a build out myself on Linux. Yes, would be great to have Ellen on Linux too.

I already emailed about the beta testing. Regardless of how that goes thanks for being open to the idea of a LInux build and for your effort. Count me in for a purchase if Ellen comes to Linux.

Thank you! Have your tried Proton. We have been doing our best to make Ellen work on Linux but due to so many flavors it look like it isn't that easy.

We are not giving up totally but as we are approaching the release date we need to make sure it's perfectly fine for other platforms at the moment.

Proton looks promising so let's see if it can help Ellen on Linux.

Hey!

You dont have to support every distro or flavour out there! Just keep focused on one of the main/popular distros (usually Ubuntu/Debian) and SteamOS and let the community to figure out how to solve the issues in the others. That's how other studios are giving proper Linux support and keep the Linux users happy! ;-)
