'Cos it's entirely impossible that someone (Oh look, how about me?) would have their computer set up on a TV or monitor running at 1080p. Amirite?

Works a treat.
I never said that it wasnt a good game it IS a great game, I neve said that graphics are more important because they aren't more important,I just asked why there is no 1080p. Because when I play games I don't like the screen to be squashed and out of proportion or to have black bars. It isn't even a massive deal but I was wondering if there was a way to fix it and guess what there is.
Don't act like a hypocrite I am guessing that you play all of your games in 640 x 480 resolution in 256 colour mode on a CRT monitor huh? exactly.
I have tested this, and I can verify that it does work. I had to monkey around with things for about 45 minutes, only to find that this does indeed work without having to monkey around with things. Just be sure to place the TTres.exe file in each episode's game folder, and run TTres. You then select the resolution in which you are currently running (I'm running on a 36" RCA TV, via HDMI, so it was 1920x1080) and hit "Patch".
Voila, game works.
I don't even want to start on what I went thrgouh, frustratingly trying to get the game to work in any other way. Just be sure that you don't have anything in set up compatibility-wise on the game's executable. ;)
Cheers!
I haven't played through all of each of the first two seasons yet, but I was warned that the video can be buggy at times (the note on the Tell Tale games resolution fix link above says that), so I want this to reiteratie that as my own personal disclaimer.
However, so far games run and I can get back to cracking the dastardly cases once again. I hope that means the same for you!
In the game, if I hit "Esc" or go to the gear in the upper left corner, I can't seem to get out of it. Somehow, the entire options menu causes the game to no longer respond to mouse clicks or trying to Esc out of it.
As I said, it's not too much of a bother seeing as the game autosaves quite a bit, and if anything were to happen (which it doesn't, the game is pretty linear), then I can go back to the previous autosave by ALT-TABing out.
Leammie know if anyone else has this issue.
