This game is slowly dying, and there is nothing we can do.
As much as I love this game seeing the number of players decreasing day by day is killing me slowly inside. It’s like cancer where you count the days you still have left. RR was the first game which dragged me deep into BR over those other competitors like PUBG or Fortnite. I want this game to least as long as possible but my hope is thin.

There are reasons why people quit playing this game. Broken game balance, enormous amount of bugs, cheaters and teamers.
Bugs will be fixed, cheaters will be banned but when that’s all done and the game officially releases the player base will be as small as the population of Vatican.

I don't know the answer of how to make this game survive the current BR war, all I can do is to pray for its best of luck.

A game that exist sorely for hype train will always die in painful death....its just a fact.

And knowing how bad BR genre get milks nowadays in both Mobile and Free to play market..it just make it die faster...well i had my fun..never serious about this game anyway..

But as it is a free to play game..it might get relevant long enough before the whole genre die out.

As a player in Asia it’s already hard enough to find a game after 1am, and when it passes 2 it’s dead silent like an abandoned village. 2h queue and nothing isn’t rare in this server. Maybe because RR hasn’t really shown its name here yet. Less people means longer queues, and on top of that the chance of encountering teamers gets also highe. "The division" has lost its players for not reacting fast enough against cheaters. I'm afraid it will happen to this game too, which I really hope it dosn't.

Its still in alpha, more than 100k ppl has seen and played this game, this means that the potential numbers are big. If they polish the game i'm sure console, beta and official release will refresh the population. Anyway, from Europe and with 5-10k players online i can easily find a match in less than 1 minute and im ok with this.

what pisses me off is that they can just change stuff so quick not carring what people think. DM should of never taken of intill the new game modes where on. Ppl get mad at this type of way of doing thing

i loved this game, but knew hi-rez was the boss... had so mutch funn in the early days of alpha.. but with each patch without saying anything or talking to the community, they changed it.. well hi-rez is nvr gonna learn, and hopefully nvr going to be bigg.. lucky alot of players are smart and turn there back on hi-rez.. hope they bleed dead

The numbers are stabilizing, no? Last I checked SteamCharts, the numbers are pretty much stable if you take a look in the past week. If anything it’s such a subtle difference that it shouldn't be exaggerated like this Thread. Yes I’ve claimed this game was slowly dying in the past, but I knew at some point it will be stable. I believe this game will be around for a while as long as Hi-Rez advertise, update, and manage well.

We have flipped positions lol. I was the one taking your stance, now I think it's dying.

Relearning the game every patch is frustrating. Unbalanced classes (one master class), even more frustrating. Unbalanced common guns that basically makes early game rng fest, even more frustrating. The enjoyment of this game does not counteract the frustration based on what the people I play with are saying.

After the game is more polished and developed + some good marketing I can see it growing a few times over in size easily. It really depends if they are willing to put in the work or if they will let it die after milking some money from the game.

The playerbase number is stabilizing, not decreasing. Only kids will think that when the game first launch with 100k players and it will retain like that, it's not. Paladins starts with 60k players and maintain a daily 28k players. Battlerite starts with 40k players and maintain with 8k players and many more games I don't remember.

For an alpha game with daily players of 10k is good enough.

The thing is, Realm Royale is a spin-off of Paladins, which most Paladins players will try this game but eventually move back to Paladins because how boring battle royale game is nowadays, plus the always changing always balancing the game (it's a thing in Hi-Rez for their alpha and beta game).

It's still trending downwards.

Yes, and it's still a month on alpha release. It can go lower in time, or even higher when in full release.

Division lost it's players because its endgame was crap.
