Do what you want with your own money. No one is going to forcing you to buy the DLC.
But people who say the DLC should be free are dreaming.
But other people are happy to pay the money because they like the game. For me the DLC is cheap. The price of a pizza. I want the game to continue thus I am happy to support the devs. I am not even really into campaigns. I prefer multiplayer.
And yes the recent update is bugged. But this has happening with just about every major update and DLC launch since Aoe2 HD first came out. It's broken for a week and then they fix it. No big deal.
Its as you said attention seeking. Why would an attention seeker lock themselves out of attention just because they could in fact afford the game?
/s
People put a negative connotation, but I'm not typing to you expecting no one will read what I say.
But if you wanted a discussion you wouldn't type "what a joke". That makes it look like you are looking for an echo chamber. That's where the seeking attention claim comes in, cause there's no discussion to be had with the OP.
Kindda sucks one house hold has to buy it 3 times.
More along the lines you commented in a thread that had activity because you had an opinion, however its a thread that wouldn't exist had the OP not been attention seeking. Now if your done deciding that everyone who calls the OP out for attention seeking while complaining about having to buy something because they want it but don't want to pay for it, we can probably move on.
really, I do not understand, why it should be free
This is a optional content, nobody is forced to buy it
When you don't know how programming work, maybe you shouldn't talk at all.
I agree
wow, that means pc gaming was rather bad that year....its pretty sad actually....and btw, the "improvements" were merely a refresh at best....
If you cant program for ♥♥♥♥ then maybe you shouldn't be collecting any money at all. Delist the game so you don't trick people into buying a broken mess.
Doesn't this happen every time there is an update? It's normal. It's impossible to test for every possible bug. It's a very complicated game and people are playing on different systems with different graphics cards. As the update as released the developers can then work on the feedback from regular players and get it working well again.
This has been happening for years. Every major update is buggy then get fixed pretty quickly.
And 30,000 play this game every day. A 20 year old game. People love this game! This isn't just some game that is popular for a couple of years and everyone moves on to the latest game. AoE2 is more like a competitive hobby, like Chess.
