How to interact with units after group selection?
In previous AOE2, we can "shift+click" or "ctrl+click" to select units of the same type or remove certain unit from a group selection.

Can this feature be enabled in HD version?

For me it works both i can select all units of the same type with shift+leftclick and deselect a single unit with ctrl+leftclick in the group window. You can Just doppel click a unit on the map view to choose all units of the same type.

I'm wondering about this too - in HD I could de-select units (e.g. weak units from healthy) on HD by ctrl+clicking them away, just like OP says. I cannot do that in DE - is that a bug?

I see no hotkey thing for that in game options. Also, I noticed shift+click and dragging won't add villagers to the group (I think this was promoted as a feature?), but I'm not sure which option also turns this feature off.

Exactly. I could not find any related configurations neither.
As i say it works for me with shift, ctrl and double click.
If you want adding a unit to the group you can select the unit and shift+hotkey your group then click ctrl+hotkey.

Turned out to be a bug. Set the interface scale to 100% can solve the problem.

That fixed the problem for me too, but I really liked having the UI set to 125%. It looks a bit too small for me when it's 100%.

Also, I noticed that ungarrisoning is faster at 100% now. I often had troubles with group ungarrisoning before, now there's none. Quite annoying, since it's harder for me to see unit health now. Oh well.

I have the same question. How can I find weak or lost units within a group and take them apart? How can I send my wounded men back to a certain spot? I've tried Group Number / Left Click on any unit in the group / Right Click on spot, just as we always did on Age of Empires IIHD but it seams this doesn't work any more. Any suggestion?

Um, for me, the UI scaling was the problem. Now I can de-select the weak units by just manually clicking on them all, just like in HD. I'm not sure what you exactly mean, I don't know if I ever used those commands, sorry.

The question is how can I find weak or lost units within a group and take them apart not selecting them on the map itself but from the units window? How can look at my wounded units and send them back to a certain spot? I've tried clicking the keyboard Group Number / Left Click on any unit of the group / Right Click on the new spot, just as we always did on Age of Empires II but it seams this doesn't work any more. Any suggestion?

I'm not sure if there's a command to go to a wounded unit, but you can surely see their health when you've selected them in a group? And from there, I de-select them with ctrl + click, as we used to in HD. I don't know if there's a way to automatically group all wounded units together and send them somewhere. At least, I don't know of that possibility.

Solved! The last 33154 Game Update fixed the issue. Thanks.
