Is the DLC worth it?
I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the forced marriage controversy, is the content/gameplay worth it?

No.

They are little three hour episodes.

Let's hope it improves with Atlantis but the first one is a bust in my opinion.

The whole First Blade is basically a hidden love story up to this point.

They could have fleshed out the Tempest who was a really interesting character but they skipped over that so My Kassandra could make droopy eyes at Natakas.

Yes, it's worthy.

I'd say all the upheavel about it just makes it worthy to try out lol. Just to know where all the saltness comes from.

They are still developing the DLC so I'd say give it time for them to finish or at least get more content out for them before buying.

the dlcs are another cult of cosmos storyline, plus 8 to 9 side missions in estimation.

Now put all the cult of cosmos storyline, and some "!" Mark side quests together, you judge if they worth the money in your currency.

tempest would be a more suitable candidate for natakas, just saying.

i like the hidden blade dlc so far. it starts to show you the ancient ones who are the bad guys in origins. and darius character is good. i think part 3 is going to really be good when they tie it together. i think that atlantis and the fact you get the remaster of assassin creed 3 and liberation makes the season pass well worth the money.

Each DLC also give you a new ability:
  1. Shadow Viel (remove corpses on assassination)
  2. Rapid Fire (active bow ability)
  3. TBA
  4. TBA
I say wait for sale.

oh and you get new legendary armor set in part one and several legendry weapons between the two parts. the shadow veil ability is really good if you are doing assassin build. and youll be waiting a long time for a sale. they wont put it on sale until all content has been released.

and each part took me about 5 hrs to do so far. 3 is rushing it. if you take your time each episode is at least 5hrs. if part 3 is same the legacy of blade should be 15hrs roughly.

Personally I think they're completely worth it. For me 100%ing the DLC's 2 parts required 10-12 hours with each part requiring 5-7 hours. Both pt 1/2 add new abilities and improvements while adding more to the main game, New cultist branches, for example. , the story has been phenomenal IMO, if u don't mind the controversy, you will really enjoy this and it will enrich your game experience for the long term.

So far for me the dlcs alone are not worth it. It's been more of the same...more quest scenarios, more killing cultists who are called a different name, more collecting armor/weapons, there is a new flame thrower for the Adresdia which was kinda cool. As already mentioned, the Tempest would have been interesting to flesh out but they focused instead on a love interest for your character that isn't an option. I'm more excited for the remastered old games as part of the season pass...or maybe they add some new ideas instead of more of the same questing.

absolutely. The story and characters are amazing, imho even better than in the base game so far. And we still have one episode to come of DLC1. Content-wise it's absolutely worth it in my opinion. The whole "having a child" thing is actually really heartwarming to see, regardless of all the drama some people made out of it. It's amazing. Also it brings forth some moral questions to your char, that he's the bad one who kills thousands, not the (new) cult which wants to protect the people from the dangers of his bloodline etc. Pretty cool.
Also yea, new abilities, much new stuff to do and see, freaking flamethrower for your ship etc pp.

One of the problems with DLC feeling shorter is the lack of progression you find in the original game.

In general: You have already uncovered the map and have all the fast travel points.
You already have a jump on anything needed like experience/skill points, and gear.
You are very familiar with the menu's, UI, and gameplay mechanics.

In Origins, The First Blade DLC was given a new area to explore, and that forced us to take a bit more time. The Pharoh's Curse DLC also gave new zones to clear with a boss fight at the end of each one.

I hope the 3rd part of the Hidden Blade DLC in Odyssey is a real knock-out, as well as the Atlantis DLC, or I'd have to say Origin's kicked it's butt as far as DLC is concerned.

I would say, wait until all the DLC have released and then buy them as a package. The reasoning for this being, when you are drip fed the story this way it feels short and unsatisfying because you've finished the rest of the game by then and you're just treading water, waiting for each new piece of the story to trickle out.

What I want more than DLC is Game+ mode, so I can start a new playthrough with Kassandra and not feel like I'm wasting my time.
