Throwing Bodies

People talk about hiding bodies by throwing them off walls/cliffs/etc, and I have even seen NPC guards pick up bodies and throw them over a ledge. Is there a trick to this? Whenever I try to drop one off a ledge, most of the time they just land at my feet. (And I usually end up getting spotted as I pick up & drop a corpse over and over...)

I seem to remember this being easier in other AC games.

you throw them the same way you shoot with your bow too. When you carry a body just aim and throw. :)

while carrying the body, hold right click and left click.

The game at some point will actually tell you how to throw a body if you have the tips on, I believe. It did for me and that's the only way I realized that you could throw bodies.

Took me 3 minutes of experimenting with corpses.

I had to finish first though.

It actually works a tad better than it did in Origins...you just Aim and Shoot while holding a body. In Origins many times they wouldn't make it over the short walls when you were sneaking while throwing, now they do :)

I never knew that!! :-O

I just walk up to the wall and hit E to drop them. If I'm standing near the edge, they drop over it. If they don't, I pick them up and turn around backward to the drop-off, then drop them.

Now I have a new way!! Thanks!!

Yeah thanks! I totally missed that. I had resorted to just jumping over ledges with it, dropping the body and climbing back up.

Cool, totally not obvious. Found that out on level 42 after reading your comment. Playing Origins though, but...
