They ran out of money for lawbreakers. and since its nexon's baby they can't do anything.

thats one of the reasons they have stated that this game is produced and published by boss key. so that people would realize they aren't being held down by Nexon.

sad thing is nexon money is still money, which I'm sure is why Lawbreakers was as good as it was. hard to make games with limited resources.

no1 played LB. should they continue to develop the game and its current payment model with 9 peak players.

they will try again later in the year with some changes probably going free to play but if u bought the game then luls.. sucks to be you.

BR games are more popular than ever.. its only pubg which is dying. fortnite is already bigger than peak pubg and is still growing. Red dead redemption 2 is having a BR mode aswell.. so its clearly a dying genre.

BR's are dying? lol in what world haha Fortnite is only getting bigger just because PUBG cant come out with updates that actually make the game better and take insight and actually fix problems then it's just gonna keep dying.

I'm fine if they want to hop onto the trend, even if their previous game was dead from the start but I dont know what would make this game anywhere close to successful if Fortnite BR already exists

maybe they might be better off making something original but it's better for the business to cash in on whatever is popular right now

Yes, they should, because they made multiple promises that they would, both before and after the game proved to be a complete stillborn dud. Not acting upon a myriad of promises (from both a roadmap and CliffyB himself) is dishonest; yes, pulling the plug asap was the best business decision to make, but we do not exist in a vacuum where that is the only thing to consider.

a roadmap is not a promise. its a clear direction the development will take in the future as long as the game continues to be profitable and successful.. LB did not succeed or make any money so they stopped development. It has a chance of returning in the future with some serious tweaks.. but for now tough titties.
