HOW TO FIX GAME CRASHING / NOT LAUNCHING PROPERLY

I'm playing on Windows 10, and I found a fix for the game not working properly a while ago. Sometimes it wouldn't even launch, sometimes it would get stuck on the loading screen, and i can't exit out of it, etc. DxWND didn't help either.

Solution:
You need to download a .dll file to handle the incompatible devices and stop the crashing. You can download it from here:
https://github.com/riverar/IndirectInput/releases/tag/0.1

Put the dinput.dll file in the same folder as SWEP1RCR.exe (...\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Episode I Racer), then start the game normally. This should fix the problem.

Another thing you can do, is search for "Video Settings" in your computer's search bar, which opens "Racer Display Settings". You can select the best resolution there!
