Otherwise you can always try to reinstall or restart computer and/or replug the wheel, maybe try a different usb socket.
Sometimes the weirdest combination of actions solves the issue.
If everything fails, I'll just delete all software, check manual and read through it to make sure I follow the steps in exact order.
If it still fails, it could very well be a case of faulty hardware.
Plugging it in before running the software does not cause problems.
Whaat ? you HAVE to run in PS 3 mode on PC !!!
