Ratings
I bought the game and have played a while. (One minute worth.) As I believe this would indeed violate a code of ethics with Valve/Steam, I assume ratings have been turned off due to the nature of gambling. With the newest release of GTA I think having ratings of any kind of game that gambles should not exist. Again ethics and being mainly family friendly.

However, I will post my review here because I don't think it does justice to the dev as they did make a product that doesn't make micro-transactions which is a win in my book. In the end if you are a bad player, you're a bad player. Realize you weakness; improve or run. Don't hope. Think of it this way, if you were a market trader you'd learn as much as you can and loose a lot in the beginning. Once you learn it as a profession there is no guarantee of making profit so you keep refining. This is no different and as of "this game", there is no risk applied. Essentially paper trading minus the cost of utilizing a platform which to practice. IE game.

Lastly I think this would be a good section for reviews as games without ratings are usually not looked into, even if a discussion page does exist. I will disclose that this game will NOT make you money and you WILL loose all your money gambling. Be forewarned.

RECOMMENDED

For those looking to get started counting and learning this game can be a great tool to learning the craft. For being a 2004 release its good for the price but not without its own issues due to being an older game. Real count and true count may randomly reset. AI players act like they know the new cards coming out as if they lost count and started over. (Even on new shoes.) The cards dealt come out very fast and makes it near impossible to count as a beginner. I recommend players to count their own cards at home and learn how to deal, watch videos on how fast cards can be dealt. I believe this game would be a good stress test before moving on.

Improvements
1) Fix AI 2) Slow down cards dealt 3) Allow multiplayer 4) Allow option to stop failed hands from being removed automatically or refer to #2.

Lastly it seems to me that this game uses a lot of graphic resources which would explain why the count resets. Graphic resources are not as reliable for calculations as a processor. Since times have changed I'd like to see the game make calculations from the CPU not GPU. Lastly because of being an older game, it will not scale with computer performance without changing variables. Firmware issues may arise in the future.
