I have been keeping an eye on this game for a long time. I really want to play it but the game has extreme entries. People either passionately hate it or passionately love it. Like the game and concepts look fun but the graphics look terrible. Mount and Blade is kind of that way and it rocks. Come on players tell me what you think!

Basically the real issue is that I am super poor. I kno wits only $14 but is it worth it? How bad is it? How good is it?

Wait till it's on sale for cheap (I picked it up for like $4).

That being said, I really enjoyed playing it and I know a lot of people hate it for various (stupid IMO) reasons. Since it's such a polarizing game I'd say wait till it's on sale so you don't feel so bad if you don't like it. It's also really helpful to have a few friends to play with, and the campaign is pretty broken. I don't like RTS campaigns anyways so for people like me it's a non issue.

The game is really bad trust me on this i agree with him if u REALYYY want it get it for cheep but its a waste of money if over 10$

I was curious if you could fight against ai as well, if I could buy it hella cheap I would but it doesn't appear to be part of the steam sell at all which is pretty dumb considering it probably never sells anymore.

You can do offline skirmish. You can do up to 32 players on some maps...which is ridiculous. And the AI is pretty unbalanced. It's either super dumb or obnoxiously hard. So you have to balance the teams accordingly.

The online servers seem to be officially dead though, I've tried playing with a friend a few times and it always seems down. Which is kind sad.

Its honestly not a bad game at all. It has a learning curve for sure and lacks polish in many areas. If you are the type that has to have the most amazing eye bleeding graphics and AAA music...lol well look elsewhere. However, if you find yourself forgiving and willing to overlook some of its issues, i think you will enjoy it for what it is. I played it a lot during beta and after release. I loved it and was just amazed at how hard people slammed it. Yeah, its not perfect and is indie, but thats what makes it great. If you havent noticed, graphics and visuals dont matter much to me if the core is solid and fun.

I would like to mention that the officals servers have been dead for awhile, soooooo keep that in mind.

Low budget, but really cool game overall. I like it and I think it's worth it at the discounted price.

I have a steam key and if you still want to give it a try i will trade the game for $1 dollar, basically for a Tour of Duty ticket or 2 Sack of Gems.

You'd be insane to buy this game. This game was fun when it was released but multiplayer is completely dead on this game and has been since a few months after it's release.

To make matters worse, it's learning curve is more like a cliff, and it has a lot of weird design decisions put into it (The actual game doesnt run in the same executable as the main menu, for example, meaning the game has to open in a completely separate window) . Its really not worth your time IMO, I could not get into it.
