2 Horses

It's sad to say lol, I am literally stuck on this part of the game. Using that shield to kill off those horses is a real pain. Just like the T-Rex. Anyone else strugglin' with these 2 horses?

you have to shoot at the horses until they become enraged (red flash circle above their head) and start charging at you, then you do a adrenaline shot and they will be temporarily disabled. That's when you hostle your weaon, use your grapple to pull off their shield. Once the shield is on the ground, next time the two horses use their green light gaze attack on you, you pick up their shield to reflect the gaze BACK AT THEM, thus turning them into rocks, then you shoot the ♥♥♥♥ away to break them into pieces ; )

I can never pull off the adrenaline thing, I only managed to kill the T-rex by shooting it for 15 minutes when it got stuck in the scenery for a while. Looks like I won't be getting past this one :(

The "adrenaline thing" may not work if you skipped the tutorial for it earlier in the game. See this other discussion for details:

Are you struggling with it or is it that you dont know what to do? It took me a while to work out what i was supposed to be doing (i never knew was supposed to pick up shield and face them). But once i knew what i was meant to be doing; it was pretty easy, i even done it on Hard difficulty with the starting pistols and without using any med kits as i wanted a challenge as it was too easy (the whole game is too easy), my health did get very low though as the fireball things are pretty much impossible to avoid

Sadly the adrenaline mechanic is fundamental to beating the game. You literally cannot defeat the final boss if you can't pull it off. I'm glad it became optional in Underworld but that game doesn't have any boss battles.
