New Trailer + Playtest Extended to May 10

We just released a new trailer for Tale of Ronin, and we have good news for everyone who hasn't had a chance to play the demo yet.

Since launching our playtest, the response has been humbling. Your feedback has been valuable, your words of encouragement have meant a great deal to us, and we are grateful for everyone who has taken the time to play and share their thoughts.

To give more players a chance to experience the game, we are extending the playtest to May 10, 2026. We are approving access requests daily, so if you haven't requested access yet, head to our Steam page and put in your request.

Tale of Ronin Playtest is Now Live

We've been building Tale of Ronin for a long time. Today, for the first time, we're opening the doors.

Our Steam Playtest is now live. You can request access directly from the store page and play the current demo, no strings attached.

What you'll be playing: This is an early build. Some systems are unfinished, some edges are rough, and that's intentional. What's here represents the core of what Tale of Ronin is: a narrative RPG about the human cost of being a masterless samurai, the weight of choices, the silence between battles, the question of what honor means when no one is watching.

What we need from you: Your honest impressions. What felt right. What felt confusing. What made you stop and think, or made you want to stop playing entirely. All of it is useful.

We've built a short feedback form directly into the game's main menu or using the link below. It takes about 5 minutes. Please fill it in after you've played.

"if you submit your email we will keep you informed" .... nada, nuttin', zip I came real close to deleting the wishlist because the title was obviously abandoned ... today I noticed the thumbnail changed. 5 minutes a month to make a post on these boards is all it would take...
