What's even the point of getting the last two DLCs now if you got the game as soon as it released? These should have been the first to be released -the missions will be trivial to beat and there's no new content to beat with the new units if you have done everything up to this point.

I'm seriously considering just watching the cutscenes on youtube and uninstalling the game to free some space from my not-too-big ssd.

Well at least we got some news, and I'm fine with that. I'm far from being done with VC4 and I'm playing other games these days. I'll edit my review.

For all we know this could be made up. There still is nothing official.

There's no point, unless you start a new game. That's why I keep a save file at chapter 2 just to play these DLC when they come out.

please correct me if i'm wrong
I have the constant feeling that SEGA thinks PC gamers are not worth it to get these DLC's
Broso Dec 21, 2018 @ 2:24pm
Well, they sure seem to think we're not worth it to get a proper announcement.

Sega would not make their plans known to an individual via email and not make that public. I'm calling BS on this

To avoid being censored by Steam, imagine a bull taking a dump, and it's that dump.

Contacted SEGA support, this was their response:

"Thank you for contacting SEGA Customer Support.

Unfortunately we were unable to release these last two DLC on Steam at this time.

However, good news about this content will be on the way next year.

Thank you for your continued support of Valkyria Chronicles 4."

So damn vague and strangely phrased.

no doubt the port team has been disbanded. the xbox version being delayed is no doubt due to M$'s assinine certification and I believe that Ninty have something similar which would explain the switch.

steam though has no QA whatsover (much to our detriment). The pc dev team being disbanded is the most likely cause.

But they do think we are "worthwhile" to get the game and the first bunch of DLC?? That makes no sense.

"Were unable...at this time" - yeah, that's surprisingly bad English. But given that there's only 10 days left in the year and many of those days aren't business days, it's probably correct no matter what the source is.

HUGE doubt, actually. Though, if it's a small team, they could have had some key folks get hired away. Heck, if it's only a half dozen folks, one good flu bug could knock them back a month easy. But again, in all these cases, why not SAY something??
