A Big Thankyou
To the developer of this wonderful sim.. A heartfelt thankyou..
im big on realism. ive hundreds of dollars of DLC in other train sims etc.. infact I recently purchased a very similar loco for TS.. I was going to get another tonight.. but I didnt.. On a whim I got this after eyeing it for months

My PC is underpowered, a 2011 laptop...its always bothered me that this sim is being slowly lovingly crafted yet seems to have almost no exposure..

so instead of purchasing more DLC for the other sim.. I brought this

You know.. Im not disapointed

Im happy I purchased this. it runs like a dream on my aging laptop too..
controls arnt as realistic as id like. a bit barebones.. but its lovable :)

Eagerly awaiting for 1.5.. theres alot to be done.. we need fire, injectors, handbrakes etc etc but as it is now.. its a beautiful work of art

im encouraged about how it looks and I truly believe it deserves more notice in the train sim community.. so a heartfelt thankyou to you for having the spirit and bravery to work on this sim yourself and release it like you have.. it means alot to me. youve created something unique

really loving the steam crane btw..

im also happy to see the train didnt die when it derailed. instead kept steaming.. which gives me hope that maybe this game *may* be one of the first with a traction engine or road locomotive after the steam crane?

Anyway all up.. Thankyou.. and thankyou so much
you do wonderful work. keep it up :)

thank you very much for your kind words and I am glad you are enjoying the game! I am really eager to develop a solid and realistic simulation and comments like these are very motivational :D

With 1.5 there will be first person controls so it will be more immersive.

Yes on lower settings it doesn't need a lot of ressources. It's manly the physics collision calculations done by your cpu. With higher settings the post processing effects are mainly keeping your graphics card busy.

The game is completely built by physical objects. All axles, rails, etc. are colliding with each other which gives the cars and all other objects a pretty realistic movement.

Thanks again! Please feel free to write a review that would be awesome!

PS i really should change the title of the video ;)

Also you probably need to label the video as work in progress. The 1.5 video isnt what you get at the moment, for me its fine..ive followed this game for a while..i knew id get 1.4

For alot of people though not having the features of 1.5 when they fire up the game as shown in the video may induce refunds and steamism screaming tantrums :)
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
