But if you do add seeds and turn it on while it's lowered, then you could weed an empty field and sow it at the same time.
In other words, the seeds are only a benefit if you're weeding a cultivated but unsown field. And AFAIK, it only takes seeds for grass, oilseed radish, and canola. I have not found a use for the seeds at all, I never turn mine on. I suppose if you're sowing any of those three this could do it faster if it's wider than any of your other sowers.
It also a great tool to plant oilseed/ grass / glover and things like it because it has a smaller working depth than a seeder and the plants mentioned sall be planted as close to the surface possible
