Culture Buildings?

Which buildings satisfy the 'Culture' need?

Cinema (movie theater) is the only one. I'm not sure if statues satisfy the need. I don't think so. I wish we could build churches. There's no way to satisfy the religion demand atm.

I dont think Cinema is the right one. Maybe you can try to build a radio tower or TV station.

You can, on pre-built maps.
Churches are not something you will be able to build, it is intended AFAIK.

the cinema does satisfy the culture needs, i dunno if the huge buildings like the radio and tv stations do something to the culture need

Radio station and TV station give culture to the entire country. With that said the game needs more culture buildings. Museums, performing arts centers, and dance halls would be nice.

Definetly more culture related buildings indeed. The republic needs to train the beautiful artists it create and show it's magnificent culture to the world!

Also, religion is not necessary in the republic. The only belief you need to have is in the people, the system and our leader!
So yeah, the idea is to counter the need for religion with other stuff. No churches will be able to be build and that is a gameplay mechanic.
While you're at it, demolish those old things and replace them with cinemas or shopping malls.

OK, culture is satisfied locally by the movie theatre. The radio and television stations *can* satisfy culture depending on the prevelence of electronics AND the settings of the station itself (you can set them to satisfy various things from culture to state to even sports).

You do know it's still pretty early in development still, right? I mean, the game itself is excellent BECAUSE it has mods available. The devs didn't have to do that...

How about you don't play them either then? Why do people feel the need to complain about early access games with mod support? Go play some non-early access title with or without mod support. Or are you just gonna brag about piracy? I just finished 2000 hours in this game and 99% mod-free. It's a great game and I'd pay $100 with 0 mod support for the fun I've had / hours of enjoyment.

Religion needs will drop to 0 if you don't have any churches on your map and your society is working great. I just finished a 43 year game and within 3-5 years my religion needs dropped to 0. They went up to maybe 5-10% when I most likely had some bad issue that made my citizens pray I wouldn't play so awfully.

Cinema and radio / tv stations and some of the new tourism attractions work as culture buildings. Any attraction with the type 'museum' will satisfy culture needs. You only need one radio / tv station for the whole map. But you can have multiple with different programming. The next patch (the current dev diary) talks about changes to the TV and radio.
