TLDR; It's a Majora's mask time loop, as a RPG 90's style RPG horror, that is fantastic, but really buggy because of so many mechanics.

This really is one of the best games I have ever played. When people talk about great short games, I think about lakeview Valley being a masterpiece that is overlooked in that, but also for good reason.
Lets get it out of the way, it's just not polished very well. There are times where events might have skipped because of the programming, and for a single dev game it's somewhat expected.
What isn't expected, is just how much attention... well everything, that this game has. There is well fleshed out characters that have multiple interactions throughout the game, with their own schedule based on time. The game is a time loop where you can perfect your skills by learning from your past mistakes. There are multiple endings, each one feeling distinct. Think of a more rpg version of the dev's hit series Lakeview Cabin, with an emphasis on storytelling and less on knowing exactly what to do.
The bugs made me stop playing twice, once losing a full save, once losing several hours (I played on ITCH before steam). I have came back to it because there just isn't something else like it fully, its so many great idea's in such a unique experience, that I can say I bought on sale, but if I had to, I would purchase full price again.

Pretty good, murdered the town, rewound time and did it again. Solid 10/10.




Also you can bang all the townsfolk which is pretty weird
