Celebrate with me ! I just officially finished this school year :) This leaves me with nothing but time to work on this project. I also send my CV over to CDPR with hopes for one of two available internships in the encounter design team and open world design team. Eitherway expect a new update soon and have a chill day. Thank you but not yet because I'm still in the proces of getting the mechanics on paper (it's been in development for only a week). I would like to give it some artwork though, I found some of your art and screenshots online but I'd still like to know if I can use what I found in the text books.

Are you planning to bring original mechanics from the game to your rpg, or it will be something different? I mean original mechanichs can be very crunchy if you'll try to adapt it for pnp. It feels like pnp version needs it's own mechanics more similar to a "new school" like pbta or fate.

For now I think of adapting them but putting a spin onto resource managment and tactics as far as combat goes. When it comes to social and enviromental interactions it will be up to the player's creativity and charisma mostly.

An update from the topic starter:
To all whom it may concern. This monday I'll propably release first of my weekly updates with a summary of the game's mechanics ! Mind you the mechanics in this document aren't going to be final versions untill I'm finished with that part of development. Many things will change untill then and hopefully they'll change thanks to you guys because I'm open to suggestions and discussions about any aspect of this project. Eitherway have a nice day and I hope you'll work with me on this little addition to the game we all like :) .

K, here is some suggestions. The days of systems like Fuzion are gone and nobody want to spend their time at the table during battle to count the sum of 6d6. Even the crunchy Shadowrun gives you a dice pool but you should count only number of successes (wich is faster, you should just look at your dice and check if it is 5 or 6, and count how many 5-6 dices you've got). So, obviously you should change that mechanic'cause it's needlessly time consuming. And for now there is not so much to discuss. Waiting for future updates. I'm curious about somnia mechanics by the way.

Thanks ! I was just afraid that it would be too similar to Call of Cthulu, I'll change that (I'm working on a simple system that would let players affect Somnia as a plane of existence and as an extention it's afflictions for example a person with really powerful influence can hold back someone becoming a somnik or even mutating *I'm expanding the idea of unsleepers and people with a presence in Somnia in general*)
I guess I will put some info regarding this PNP stuff in our next update to drive some additional attention.
Sounds really nice. Don't be afraid if something will look familliar, if it is not a complete and mindless rip off and it is working it will be better. Looking forward to your next update. The Idea of playng Insomnia at the table is really good.
