Isaac confirms campaign and multiplayer will be implemented eventually.

"And just as a point of clarification, it will be a true port of the board game. We are doing our best to capture all the mechanics of the original game, while still taking all the unnecessary bookkeeping of monster movement off the shoulders of the players. It will look and play like a tactical RPG with the card-based mechanics of Gloomhaven. To start, we will just have a random dungeon generator for early access, but the full campaign will be implemented, and multiplayer is on the priority list as well. It’s a lot of work, but I’m sure Flaming Fowl is up to the task!"

If the developers keep this in mind the online version will be a huge sucess.

That's enough for me!

And then the new campaign: start alone, rescue your first companion, make choices how to expand your party, later on one of your guys gets captured and you have rescue him, etc.

I can confirm that while the early access version will only have the single player rogue-like, based on the community feedback you can expect to see online coop and the full campaign being worked on as a priority after that.

online co-op / multiplayer would be huge and certainly convince me to buy the game.

brynn, would you think of adding new senerios as either free dlc, or as paid dlc to be able keep the game on the long run?

This is definitely being considered (something like the Forgotten Circles expansion would be a perfect candidate for DLC), but we are currently just focused on getting the core game perfect and adding all the trimmings the community wants in place before we move on to anything like that. So while there are no concrete plans at the moment, it's absolutely something that is possible further down the road.

Hi Brynn - thank you and your colleagues for their effort on this game. It's very important for the community to see you launch this in a solid state, so please take your time to make it right. As mentioned already, multiplayer would be highly preferred, and many of us would like to play with our friends online, so please ensure that this is a core game mechanic. I'll pay extra for that for sure. Thanks !
Just wanted to thank the devs for a wonderful game. My family and I love it.
