Developers have abandoned this game
No new content of any kind since August 2020. The focus is primarily on WH2 and Troy. Development for 3K DLC and patches have been abandoned. All we have received since then is a vinyl soundtrack release that the majority of the community aren't asking for. We want game content. This is more disgraceful than the cyberpunk release. Where is the communication? And stop using COVID as an excuse because it surely isn't affecting their ability to release DLC for their other titles.

WH2 is for toddlers.

Nope.
Wrong with comparison to 2077 and with abandoning claim.
The gap between current and last dlc for troy is 4 months
The gap between last warhammer dlc and the one before it is 6 months.
Just wait a little bit more we gonna get something.

There are new unknown dlc entries in steamdb. One or two dlcs are coming for sure, so don't worry.

At least know what you are crying about before you start crying.

Is there a point to that kind of post ? Except for obvious baits ?

Sadly, OP has been informed of that multiple times (like this post was a literal copy paste the of a post in another thread which was also rebuked)., at this point they’re either being stubborn to the point of stupidity about their abandonment fantasy or trying to troll.

Both is good.

Troy at least had patches in between the 4 month gap as you say and warhammer 2 came out 2 years before 3k so 6 month wait it nothing when they have so much (tripled) dlcs and patchs compared to 3k.

While there is no real evidence that this game has been abandoned, a few things to think about:

1. CA has done it before
2. We don't know how the past DLC sold
But...
3. We all know that WH3 is coming, and it may be an all hands on deck situation
4. 3K has strong implecations for the Chinese market and it seems unlikely they would abandon that
5. Rome 2 received DLC 5 years after release

We also know that they've got more DLC planned for this game and that the OP is a troll who literally copy-pastes this crap every few weeks after CA stop immediately updating the game with a hotfix or proper patch. He's done the exact same thing over on the WH2 forums.

And look at what he says: "Don't blame COVID because it sure isn't affecting their ability to release DLC for their other titles."

Over on WH2, he says basically the same thing. So apparently both major games with upcoming DLC have been abandoned and are still getting DLC. Sorry, "titles". Plural, which also means Troy as the other game they have going at the moment. So all three games must be abandoned with upcoming DLC.

The man is a complete troll and a depressingly formulaic one at that.

Even if he's trolling, it's not too hard for someone to think that it's abandoned. Looking at all the forums including reddit and here, 3k seams dead. Even on youtube there are barely any new 3k related content. Perhaps most players are chinese/korean so they don't really post in these english speaking forums.

When has CA done this before? If warhammer 3 is coming, why is warhammer 2 still being updated with more or near the same amount of dlcs and patches than 3k? 3k is definitely going to be abandon if warhammer 3 comes out in following months. Rome 2 is a special case as they got 1 final dlc after 5 years. No other game has done this.

Warhammer has absolutely nothing to do with 3K. They are being made by two completely different teams. The historical team is working on historical titles. Development for 3K will stop when all of the developers move on to the next historical title. Warhammer does not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ matter for this.

Your statement that content development for something should stop just because the next game is coming, is stupid af. Rome II wouldn't even have gotten its fourth campaign, faction and culture pack by that logic since Attila was coming.

You can bet your ass that a part of the development team starts working on the next title as soon as the new game is released. So there's always the next title coming.

"Warhammer has absolutely nothing to do with 3K" thats a lie, it determine the schedule of release dates and such. Have you ever seen 3k dlc release a day after a warhammer 2 dlc. If warhammer 3 release 3k will be dead because 3k dlc will be release like every few months, like abandoning the game. CA value warhammer the most anyway.

Why do you think it has been 4 months since a patch or dlc from 3k? Its not like warhammer affect it... 3k could of been done last year if they focus on it but no warhammer 2 had to keep being updated even with 38 dlc, 4 years of release and huge amount of patches. Cant wait till warhammer over.

The schedule has nothing to do with the content that comes to 3K, but good job at putting my response into a different context than your previous post. If 3K gets a slower DLC release after Warhammer 3 releases it's because the development team shifts over to the next historical title, not because they work on Warhammer 3. Again, they are two different teams.

The next historical title will long be released when "Warhammer over".
