Wrong with comparison to 2077 and with abandoning claim.
The gap between current and last dlc for troy is 4 months
The gap between last warhammer dlc and the one before it is 6 months.
Just wait a little bit more we gonna get something.
1. CA has done it before
2. We don't know how the past DLC sold
But...
3. We all know that WH3 is coming, and it may be an all hands on deck situation
4. 3K has strong implecations for the Chinese market and it seems unlikely they would abandon that
5. Rome 2 received DLC 5 years after release
And look at what he says: "Don't blame COVID because it sure isn't affecting their ability to release DLC for their other titles."
Over on WH2, he says basically the same thing. So apparently both major games with upcoming DLC have been abandoned and are still getting DLC. Sorry, "titles". Plural, which also means Troy as the other game they have going at the moment. So all three games must be abandoned with upcoming DLC.
The man is a complete troll and a depressingly formulaic one at that.
Your statement that content development for something should stop just because the next game is coming, is stupid af. Rome II wouldn't even have gotten its fourth campaign, faction and culture pack by that logic since Attila was coming.
You can bet your ass that a part of the development team starts working on the next title as soon as the new game is released. So there's always the next title coming.
Why do you think it has been 4 months since a patch or dlc from 3k? Its not like warhammer affect it... 3k could of been done last year if they focus on it but no warhammer 2 had to keep being updated even with 38 dlc, 4 years of release and huge amount of patches. Cant wait till warhammer over.
The next historical title will long be released when "Warhammer over".
