Fun game! If multiplayer is ever added, I will recommend it to my friends. Playing it alone was a little sad, but the game concept is great.

The game's scoring system (which is effectively the main focus of the game, being shown after every hole and compared against other players) is exceptionally poorly designed, encouraging players to get their ball into the air for as long and as often as possible instead of actually rewarding skilful play.

For example: you can easily get a hole in one on the first hole with only 3 bombs, netting around 3000 points in the process, however if you simply launch your ball directly into the air over and over again until you run out of bombs you can get upwards of 9000, as each 10 second airtime gives a bonus 1500 points.

Otherwise the game is reasonably fun but easy, most holes can be cleared on the first shot with only one or two clusters of bombs with a few retries.

The price is right so I can't really knock it too bad.

Attach explosives to a golf ball and blow them up to get the ball to its home. Pretty inefficient indeed, but mildly fun. It's an interesting concept and within just a few holes I found myself trying (and succeeding at) some pretty wild shots. The game really earns its moniker of "inefficient" when you get to later holes though. You have to tirelessly wait for your ball to come to a rest after a long adventure you sent it on. Like far far farrrr too many physics games before it; this game is very very floaty and slow. After 17 holes I felt I had had enough. It's missing one or two extra things to make it truly fun. I'm not entirely certain what those thing are. Maybe it's a quality of life ffwd button, maybe it's faster physics, or maybe it's another gameplay wrinkle it needs. Either way, it is indeed cheap plus looks and runs smooth. Can't really knock it too hard.

Bundle toss in or sale would be best even with the low price. Hey, it's 30mins of mild entertainment. Maybe more if it's your thing.

It's actually pretty damn fun to mess with the physics and the mines. 3 mines at this angle, 1 on the other side to knock it back if shot too hard, Another on the top to shoot it straight down if needed. All mapped to 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the keyboard. If multiplayer were to be added to could truly be something awesome.

You place bombs on a golf ball and try and get it in the hole. The courses are super wacky and usually have lots of loops and other gimmicks. Few problems in the game:

• The physics is not perfect. Multiple times I’ve hit a seam in the middle of the field and the ball spazzes out.
  
• The bombs interact with the ground. In theory, it would be cool to layer the bombs in a way where you fire them in a specific order and make huge progress in one stroke. However, since the bombs interact with the floor making you roll in unpredictable ways, the only real strategy is to launch in the air and slam the ball on the ground. This isn’t as fun.
  
• The way you zoom and aim is a bit disorientating especially when you go under the ground.

It’s not a badly made game and it’s fun enough if you want to hole in one every round the game gives you so many bombs so I wish there was a better way to chain them and make major ground with every stroke.

J'ai une impression de jeu pas fini dans la bouche. J'ai fini le jeu en 47 min et bien que je n'aime pas juger sur la durée de vie, mais ce jeu aurait pu facilement avoir 2-3 heures de jeu + un workshop mais il n'y a que 18 niveaux que j'ai fini approximativement en 3 min chacun. Si un jeu a une durée de vie courte, le jeu se doit d'avoir les autres aspets du jeu qui sont au minimum bon et, comparé a des jeux courts que j'adore tels, que valley, Ce jeu manque énormément de polissage et ils ne savent pas du tout exploiter leurs idées au max. Le jeu a une très bonne idée mais la seule chose possible de faire dans ce jeu est d'équiper des bombes sur la balle pour en suites les faire exploser et c'est tout. Le jeu aurait pu, comme besiege, avoir plein d'éléments différents pour lesquels tu dois accomplir un objectif précis mais, la il n'y a rien d'autre que des bombes a équiper et a éxploser. Personnellement je l'ai pris durant les soldes steam en me disant qu'il pouvait être un jeu sympa mais j'ai été déçu.

Cool concept and a much more visually appealing game than similar games like Golf with Friends. The concept is almost too flexible allowing you to basically jetson your ball into the air and then blast it towards the hole often times circumventing the entire course. If you don't take that approach, you start to see how weird and floaty the physics are. Gravity is weak so your ball bounces like crazy yet somehow rolls like it's stuck in mud. The mines affect the weight of your ball and collide with the course which make things inconsistent. There's also no multiplayer which is the only reason anyone would really bother with this game.

Make it multiplayer, tweak the physics, give mines 0 mass and no collisions and you've got yourself a winner.

The kind of game that you'd watch a streamer struggle with but not actually play yourself.

Super Inefficient Golf is a golf game, but with a physics puzzle twist on it. Instead of hitting the ball normally, you place mines and trigger them in order to launch the ball. The level design is decent, but the best strategy is often to ignore the course and just launch the ball as high as you can and guide it into the hole. Later levels try to prevent you from doing this, but it only results in highlighting the issues with the game. There are a number of minor usability issues that add up to a frustrating game. Mines are deleted after detonating them, even if your ball goes out of bounds and you want to retry the shot. This is especially annoying if you came very close to making it into the hole, but were a little off, because recreating the same placement is fairly difficult. Overall, it is a unique idea that was executed pretty poorly.

Very fun game about using bombs to play golf! It's a lot of bouncy fun. Using the slow-mo button can make timing easier. ;)

Pros:
+unique take on golf
+cute graphics that are appropriate to the game
+controls work well and feel appropriately difficult
+lots of freedom to solve holes in different ways
+just generally super fun to play, made me giggle lots!

Cons:
-NO MULTIPLAYER. Seriously. I'm desperately hoping it gets added because it's a huge hole in the game's appeal.
-Controls could be introduced a little more clearly (like making it obvious that you can place more than one bomb of each color on the ball)

Overall, I recommend it if you don't mind playing on your own or have someone in the real world you can pass the controller to between holes or shots. If you want to play it with your friends, you're not alone - keep checking back and hope like crazy that the developer adds multiplayer (in which case it would be an amazing party game, drinking game, or just something super fun to play online with friends).
