Equipped items move out of inventory

This doesn't seem like a bug, but I've been a bit frustrated with my equipment moving around every time I equip/unequip it. I tried keeping all equippable items in the top row so they would stay at that level, if not in their original slot where I had them, but if I pick something up while the item is equipped, then it's space is taken by that item. This is clearly a non-critical issue, but it's a bit annoying that I can't keep an organized inventory.

I think a better approach would be for items to show a highlight when equipped and not move out of inventory. I will caveat this by saying that for armor and ammo the current functionality is perfect. This post is only targeted at weapons and tools that can be equipped in your hands and are switched out often.

Nobody's happy with the inventory system atm. It plays a sort of Tetris every time you change the item you are holding, lol.
