Linux support?

Dakar 18 uses Unreal Engine 4 which is a game engine that supports Vulkan and Linux.

Will the game have a Linux version?

A few months ago the developers didn't deny the possibility, but tomorrow the game officially goes to the market and we haven't more news.

This are exactly their words:

"For now our main goal is to meet the deadlines and release the game this Summer for the main platforms. Eventually, if our schedules allow us, we'll port and release the game for Linux/SteamOS as well. I won't lie and say this is a priority for us at the moment, but i can assure you it's on the wishlist."

"Just had a quick press meeting and the Linux subject came up. it's definitely on a todo list, more than a wishlist... let's see what the time allows us"

Finally the day of the release has arrived and we haven't support for GNU-Linux / SteamOS

We had previously stated that, while Linux support is on the todo list, it's not a priority issue.
We'll probably look more into it soon

Is good to hear this. I hope in future we can also drive across the desert dunes. I have just saw a stream and I think that play online could be different and fun than other games.
