game wont save res
im wondering if there is a fix for saving the game settings. everytime i load it up again it will be 800x600 instead of the resolution i want. any way to fix this. im running windows 7. also some of the time the game will boot but it will stay at a black screen until i close it. anyone got advice for that?

I do have the exact same problem, the resolution is changed almost every time I run the game, other times it simply freezes at startup, but appart from those two issues, it also does not saves my keyboard layout and neither the sound configuration, so, I always have to be changing all of those values each and every time I want to play.

yah i never tried to change the sound or keyboard layout but i assume it would do the same thing.
