Container lost it's contents
Hello,
I made a container for the rover, to store my materials.
Then, I placed this container on the ground, to use it as static storage.
Made new container. Attached it to the rover, and started salvaging bases around the map.
Then, I returned to the base and moved the materials to the first container, leaving the one, attached to the rover nearly emtpy.
After reloading save game - both containers was with the state of the one on the rover - nearly emtpy. All materials, moved to the static were lost.

I have read this bug in another thread. That's why I currently don't build 2 storage containers.

I've had two containers parked at my base to use as storage for a long time and have had no issues with losing contents, I can't suggest what the issue is.

The only time I lost contents was when I put a nearly full container in the Big crusher....so only empty containers get stored there now

Are you sure you lost it? ... I have a Container inside the Big Crusher with all the stuff I have recovered from demolishing bases (let me tell you there is a lot of stuff in there ... like about 50 Circuit Boards, 10 stacks Aluminium, 10 stacks pipes, 10 stacks steel plate and so on) .. It's been there for a week now...
I access that container by clicking on INVENTORY .... then on right side at the top Click on Resources Inventory.... you get a drop down menu with "Printer Container, then Resources Container and right at the bottom is just Container... thats where all my stuff is stored.
Just check that you may have the container there.

I've found the container empty it is full and I swap it in to the crusher. All the contents disappear and I've verified quantities of what was there before and after. I can move stuff in and out of the container while in the crusher and usually the contents remain when pulling the container out of the crusher, just not when putting it in.

I don't move the container ... I just use it for storage, seeing it can hold a lot of stuff.
If I need to build anything I either print it out on the Big Crusher or just collect the materials that I need for the construction.

I drag a container around with me when travel. First time I did, had it full and dropped it in the crusher.....whoops. Oh well. Lost it all and had to restore a save. But, I've adapted since.

I found them in the big crusher. It's exactly where you said. Thanks

the question is how the container inventory came to the crusher inventory, without moving the container in the crusher.
And the two containers still had a shared inventory - when you put something in one of them it appears in the other after reloading.
Something happened in the crusher - and I suspect that it just cloned the containers, with same ID.
I created the first one. Then used the crusher to replace it with the cargo module. Then parked the container on the ground and returned to the crusher to get the other module.
In the interface the rover appeared still with the container attached. I tried to move it to the crusher, and each time the result was new container in the crusher inventory.
Then, after reloading I finished with rover without container, three containers in the crusher inventory and no bulk cargo module.
Perhaps, at this moment the container was cloned.

And WHO said that there are NO Martians running around when you are not there, and who do you think is crushing all those rocks inside the Big Crusher .... a bunch of little green men with picks and hammers. They are the ones moving the Boxes.

Only happens if you use more then 1 container, so just be happy with the one 100 slot free unpowered invo.

I use them as a warp storage - container 1 in base 1, container 2 in base 2.
Put something in c1 - and I have it available on the both bases.

Does that work only for the Container Inventory or also for the Crusher Inventory??
