No Servers Found

Had not played for a few weeks, used the wizard to get joystick working, went to multiplayer and no servers found? Have loaded the latest update. Never had a problem before, has the latest update changed things or are the servers down?

Make sure the dropdown in the multiplayer screen (where you should be seeing servers) reads “internet” and then click “new list” so it loads all the servers again. As opposed to “refresh”, which just refreshes the servers already being shown.

Servers show regardless of version (you just can’t connect to them).

Thanks for reply. Done that for the last two hours and still No Server Found. No problem with BOS or any other game.

Weird, got a squad mate that just reported this problem tonight... same as you. Been working forever and now it just stopped since he started using a VPN connection to stop being kicked in BoS (error #10009 iirc).

Are you using a VPN connection by any chance?

Have you tried connecting using the ip address? On ATAG there is a direct connect shortcut you can try to see if it works. Or copy the ip and try to connect directly. Just to make sure it’s just the kist jot loading, not your whole installation having trouble with finding and connecting to MP servers.

And I’d suggest you post the problem on ATAG too. Maybe one of the devs can help you out. I haven’t seen a solution to this problem yet. A couple of posts down there was someone reporting the same problem a while back but apparently it was just the internet selection in the drop down.

Uninstalled it, might try and reinstall next day and manually do key bindings once again. good job ive got screen shots of all my bindings but getting tired of doing this, no wonder player base is so small and i pity any new player trying to get to grips with this game. I'm still to this day making adjustments and thats after three years of playing. Bit of rant but very frustrated.

Save your config files prior to any verification or re-install.

In your Documents/1C Softclub/il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover/ folder.

I have saved files folders and still everything in recycle bin but don't know how to import them. Not much of a computer wizard i'm afraid, they'd only just invented the wheel when i was born lol. Still might not solve problem anyhow. Problem only started with latest update or wizard or both. Will see if problem solved after reinstall.

Did a reinstall and still no servers found. I'm at my mothers looking after her through the covid pandemic and using her internet. maybe her router is blocking the ports? BOS and other games run fine. I'm stumped!

So,I've tested this issue for two hours now with my squadmate. Game is not being blocked. We could create lobbies and coonect both ways. He as a host and me as a host. So it isn't the firewall or anything blocking it. Direct connect works too.
There seems to be something in the game itself that blocks it from retrieving data for the servers list. The lobbies work fine. But not the internet servers.

Edit: one thing you can still test is to click on filters, then clear and ok. Just to make sure there aren’t any filters set preventing your game from loading the proper list. This is something we also tested but wasn’t the issue (it was on my end, but I don’t have this problem).

I'm starting to think this is indeed a bug and not user related. I can't think of anything not within the game (to which I don't have access to test) that could be blocking it. Since it is just the internet servers page that doesn't work!

One workaround we found was to direct connect. "Just" have the IP addresses at hand and type them in after clicking Direct Connect.

TF#3: 192.223.24.177 Port 21003
ATAG: 104.153.108.10 Port 21003

Try it on your end and see if it works. Then you will know the problem is most likely not with your router or your current setup.


Regarding your inputs, like Buzzsaw said, in Windows under your user folder, Documents there is a folder called 1C SoftClub with a subfolder called il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover. In there there are multiple .ini files. Just save them somewhere else before you deinstall and after reinstalling just put them back in. You shouldn't need to reconfigure everything everytime.

I'll try what you said. FMB works fine and single player. Funny enough, when i reinstalled COD it remembered all my bindings which is a first. Been on this problem two days now, then a couple of hours ago i had no video output. Had to strip everything down and start again, video ok now. The joys of PC gaming!

That’s good to hear. At least the problem doesn’t seem to be connected to your connection / router / firewall.
Maybe I made a mistake when copying the IP for TF#3 (can check tomorrow) or it could be the server was restarting (extreme coincidence?).

But my mate couldn’t connect to a specific server earlier either through IP. Worked on both ATAG and TF#3 though.
I’m still at a loss with this tbh.

The reports we got so far are inconclusive in the respect to the Windows version(s?) affected - we've the suspicion that it may be a STEAM-Windows7 issue

What is the Windows version you are using?
