I bought this game because I had a 90% discount code for it. After my experience, would not get it if I had a 100% discount.

Product received for free

When I first tried to play the game, half of the controls didn't do anything. I assumed that this was an Indy game in early alpha or a poorly made console-to-PC port. After doing some research and further playing and the controls still not doing what the instructions said they would, I realized that this game was just poorly made.

I got this game as a gag gift from a buddy of mine. It was a hilariously awful game.

To those who are thinking about getting a game as a gag gift, there are games that are less than 1/20th the cost of this one that are better made.

This is a good rogue-like game with side scrolling and where you shoot enemies using the mouse. Graphics are simple but the lighting make it enjoyable. You have also a double jump feature using the walls to progress on the levels but it can get tricky to handle it especially when enemies are shooting you.

Now there is the heavy metal which is a bit harsh and enemies are sometimes hard to defeat (make good use of the bombs though) but if you like shooter and platformers games then this might be a game for you.

This the second in a series of console ported retro pixel 2D platformer/twin stick shooters where you fight waves of zombies/ninjas/whatever with a variety of ballistic weapons.

Fixed resolution, ugly retro pixel graphics, terrible animations accompany the weak/boring gameplay here. The action just isn't fun. The developers thought it would be great to have enemies spawn right on top of you, so you can die to RNG really quickly, too. Not worth the ridiculous AAA price of $28.95 for this ugly, lazy retro pixel bundle filler shovelware. That price must be a joke, right?

1st game is really fun, 3rd game is a better rendition of the first game. This one is very different, very not fun. All the game have janky jumping but this one is a problem. If anything the first game is really damn fun!

I have no idea why developers of Blood Harvest 2 increased the price of this game - before it was $3.99. Anyway, this game is not worth any price, not even during a sale with 90% discount. It's also not really a "hardcore platform game" because it's hard or anything like that, but because it does have some annoying mechanics and controls are just bad.

So don't fall for it, for this price you can get a lot more, and definitely much better games like that.
