It's definitely "a" cause. I turned it off in Windows settings, and the game has been MUCH ore stable and i never get "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG" anymore.
It worked as a workaround for my PS4 controller. Now I'm waiting for a fix.

baracuda means nothing anymore ..the 4TB i have is a slowa$$ 5400 rpm drive .
well, more like i got my new hardisk some days ago and so far still trasferring files^^" but it almost finished o3o and after a while i would test it again, if the game gets still fps drops or something.
Hoping that this problem will be solved as soon as possible!
UPDATE
Nixxes just requested access to the game files. As soon as I get a response from them, I'll put it here and let you guys know on a potential (hopefuly) solution.
Pretty pretty please, can someone look into this?
Doesn't occur when running at native resolution, only when enabling Virtual Super Resolution in AMD Settings to allow 3840x2400 res downscaled to my native 1920x1200, which is the only setting that makes the game look crisp and sharp with no jaggies on my configuration. All AA options including SMAAx4 just blur the image. Played 60+ hours with VSR enabled with no issues at all, so something must have changed. I'd be super grateful if this is fixed. Here's the most obvious example:

edit: no change with 18.11.2 drivers
I'll be happy to provide any logs if needed.
Where do I find the previous version, and how to install?
