Hey folks, after a year in Early Access, Ascending Madness is now officially released!

Thank you to everyone who supported us along the way. We feel Ascending Madness offers a unique/fresh take on the twin stick shooter experience with some original movement mechanics and a dark psychedelic vibe.

We really hope you all enjoy it!

More updates to come in the future as we continue to support Ascending Madness and begin generating ideas for our next game.

How do you apply skill points?

I got a couple, but I couldn't find a way to use them, is it something that shows up in the story? I'm on level 2 atm

If you've been following Ascending Madness at all you might be wondering, just what the hell is that floating skeleton head you play as...

And with that I'm happy to say we just uploaded another level for you all to enjoy, including the game's epilogue, making Ascending Madness now 100% content complete! There are still a few things left to polish up and whatnot but the game is mostly done and just about ready for release.

We really appreciate everyone who has purchased and supported Ascending Madness during our Early Access journey! We've learned a ton and look forward to building upon that knowledge in our future games. In the meantime expect a post in the upcoming month or so announcing the full release.

Questions and suggestions.

I was wondering what kind of things were likely to be included in the final 10% of development? I'm curious about the movement design and what motivated it. The boost mechanic with gravity vs having the left stick control the ship in a more "traditional" manner? I see in the keyboard layout the default for Boost/Up is W but it's not up on the stick in the pad layout. Are there plans to add/work on sound effects? I think boost and dash could do with more sonic feedback. The dash feels more like a loose ...
