kind of like a getting over it game, but instead, theres 16 +- "mountain" in a 3d environement. The control are really hard to master but you can do really cool stuff when mastered. Its a bit tricky at the start since you don't know which mountain is easier but overall still pretty fun.

Unfortunatly there is no achievement so unknown if someone finished all the mountain or not

I bought this game twice now. The first time there were some big problems however these have been addressed. I must give my upmost respect to the dev's here. I complained about the 22 fps cap and within about a month and a half the problem was addressed. I am glad I returned this game the first time simply so I could pay full price for it. Now with all that being said it's not perfect with some FPS drops but if you want a game to mess around with for a few minutes here and their I highly recommend.

first off. if you are profoundly impacted by this game. you are a hipster; i'm not judging you as lesser, i'm just saying your'e a hipster.

with that out of the way. let me say this game is interesting. if games are art, this would be the work of a local artist hanging in some mcdonalds for a few dollars. it looks nice, and it's functional, but serves no purpose. thankfully it's only 5 dollars, certainly a fair price.

Bike of the Wild is a free roaming physics based mountain biking game which is challenging to complete. Honestly the game lacked something…. That something is a bland game with little to no character apart from the classical music. I do recommend to have a reasonably high spec pc for this game as I experienced frame dropping with my 960 and also a controller to play optimally (although note I couldn’t get pc controls working effectively).

Progression in this game doesn’t correlate to any sense of accomplishment, apart from earning a new colour bike and progression statistics nor any real naming. Say you reach the end of any given mountain, terrain or landscape… good luck bragging to a friend! A game of this type NEEDS some kind of competitive elements whether it is ranking, multiplayer or friend leader boards but quite frankly there isn’t much entertainment value here anyway to showcase.

That aside the core gameplay mechanics have potential, with quirky controls that make this game challenging yet equally FUSTRATING to complete. Remember to read the tutorial on the side wall as you go through the first stage as it is required for you to successfully pass that section. After completing this area you are able to free roam through different terrains using your skill and game mechanics to pass them.

This game is aimed at a niche group who’d enjoy mountain biking with difficult controls, but honestly I cannot see myself replaying this game nor recommend it to anyone I know regardless of any price involved.

First day playing the game and put almost a full hour from the get go. I found it randomly and it looked interesting enough. Once you get the controls down (just play the tutorial, it's that simple) and you're off! I think you'd enjoy this game if:
-You've always wanted to be a sentient bicycle
-You enjoy classical music
-You enjoy relaxing exploration
-You enjoy wacky and zany games

It sounds like most of the map is open to get to, but it does seem like the cool spots are blocked off (?). The castle, the ice structure, the rainbow... I'm sure it will take a long time to get to but it's still a fun experience and can be relaxing if you just listen to the music and ride. My bike's name is Geoffrey ^_^

Logged in another hour and had lots of fun! I've conquered so many areas, including that ice structure after falling a few times. I love this game a lot! It has such a perfect blend of relaxing gameplay and environment, but also a challenge. Great game! I will continure to work on getting to those other areas someday.

The creator said they'd give me $500 if I did a certain trail and uploaded unedited footage. I did that and still haven't been paid. I'm not mad about that but thought it'd be funny context. 10/10 will keep playing. I'm gonna beat this game The Most. Do you hear me? I'M GOING TO BEAT THIS GAME.

Huge game for only $5! Really fun and a legit challenge!

Constant crashes and lots of lag. I wish I never asked my brother to get this for me.

Cons: shotty controls, no apparent in game camera setting other than the right stick, seems to be limited to 24 fps??

despite the cons i found it rather entertaining for the bit i played. will come back to this when i get bored :)

Whos stupid idea was it to start you off in a pitch black cave with no textures, which is nearly impossible to get out of with this games ridiculous controls. Imediatley dont want to continue with this game
