The first is irrelevant for PC. And this is steam so it's irrelevant to us all.
The second is a minor improvement depending on how you look at it.
The third is irrelevant.
The fourth is up in the air.
If this is all the OP can take away from this "relaunch" then they should be very disappointed.
Was it pressented that way? From the bits of news I read it looked like they were simply updating the game for a new generation of consoles/PC hardware, with some new content added later on since they're still rebuilding the game on the new engine or whatever.
If I had to complain about something though, it's that the character models weren't updated. They still give me the impression of having an angular silhouette, it bugs me but I'm not sure how far they can push the poly count (tesselation?) on models for an MMO game like this.
TLDR:
Make Cass look juicier please
What is meaing of this? I played this game back in 2013 i have no reason to play it again only because they "reworked" some stuff and now launching it as a NEW game. When i heard about it i was hyped since i liked this game back in 2013 for some time. Then went for FireFall but it closed in 2017. And now from such game genre we only have The division and it's not quite the same as two i named before.
now im feeling scammed. Im pretty sure 90% of people who downloaded this game feels the same. They didn't want Defiance 1.25 , They wanted Defiance 2.
And how is that that game developer's "fault"? Because from reading the bits of news, I didn't have that expectation at all.
Curious to see where y'alls are getting your info. I'm looking for news straight from the devs, not speculation from video game sites.
Edit: I'm gonna go lurk on the official forums instead of here, I don't have confidence that the devs give a fig about this place, however justified/unjustified that may be.
My thoughts exactly, it's more so people expecting it to be a sequel, i never thought so either.
I liked the game back when i played all those years ago, it's just that much more fun when there's people around, so if they plan on continuing development and keep updates rolling out, maybe more people will play again and that's all i need tbh.
Some of the changes they mentioned also included progression and itemization, which are major gameplay elements, so if that's one gripe someone had with the game previously maybe they'll like it more going forward.
The changes might not be as tiny or non-existant as some people think they are, but we'll see when the game actually launches.
Just the fact that there is still no slider to adjust sensitivity while aiming shows how much of a joke this is.
And the thing is u are expecting to play with new people? There wont be any. People either already playing it (like 1000 people maybe?) or wont play it(already played it, didn't like it). It's the same game as previous game and previous game was f2p for quite time. What flow of new player are u expecting? U think people are stupid and wont understand that it's not relauch but "patch consealed as relaunch" to get some players numbers? The thing is that - those numbers will fall at speed of light rate.
