PC Version Details: No Denuvo, 144 FPS, Controller Support
- Just like Scarlet Nexus (and every other Bandai Namco game for the past ~2 years), Tales of Arise does not feature Denuvo DRM or anti-cheat

- Data Usage/Data Collection agreement can be declined ("consent is optional, and you may play the game without loss of features")

- Framerate Limit is adjustable from 60 to 144 FPS ("No Restrictions" is also an option)

- A dozen or so graphics parameters can be configured including Shadows, Screen Space Reflections, Bloom, Motion Blur, AA, Resolution Scale, etc

- No native Ultra-Wide support (engine is UE4 so a mod should be possible fairly quickly)

- Keybindings are fully configurable for both M/KB and controllers

- Full controller support - correct button prompts and vibration confirmed working for the PS5 dualsense controller (both wired and wireless) as well as xbox controllers. Button prompts are also accurate for M/KB.

Is there any way to lower the frame limit to 60? It just feels like a more consistent experience that way. Even on the best rigs, and knowing namco, its not gonna be a stable 144.

Yes, it's adjustable up to 144 (60, 75, 90, 120, 144, "No Restriction").

This makes much more sense to me.
But how did you examine the Data's yet?
You bought the retail-version and installed it?

Can you change the button prompts (e.g. PS or Xbox buttons) when using a controller and are there any haptics using the PS5 controller? I know you couldn't in Scarlet Nexus and had to download a mod to get PS buttons to show

Given who it is, I assume Namco gave him an early copy to promote it. Which is fine by the way.

Thanks for all the information. It kind of puts people's minds at ease when we have a lot of misinformation and other people just trolling the forums to get a rise out of fans. I have a feeling this will only get crazier as we get closer to the game coming out.

As is how most discussion boards are on release. Trolls will move on to future releasing games once traction slows on their posts.

If the no Denuvo thing is true, that totally squelches my gripes that I have about the graphics engine change. I can suck it up about that if Bamco kicked Denuvo to the curb. Thanks a ton for the info mate.

No Ultrawide support is a deal breaker. Get with the times, Japan! Even the Final Fantasy pixel remasters support Ultrawide. Boo!
