New Tempest Update makes CPU usage 100% and computer very loud

Is there any reason for this and can it be fixed??

The same thing always happens with these new updates, they disrupt the entire game with problems like audio, mechanics or optimization problems. It happened to me with the optimization I started playing one of the maps of the camp and from having between 60 to 70 fps I started playing with 20 fps. and the same problem continued even in the small houses when in those maps where the game is better in fps.

the only choice we have is to wait for a fix.

build a better pc. if you need 100 percent of your cpu to run phasmo. thats not good lol.

I have the same issue. Not sure why it's doing this suddenly. Maybe a mem leak? The other responses are idiots, so ignore them.

CPU usage was significantly improved in the Tempest update. What CPU do you have and what graphics options? Options like MSAA, high shadow resolution and sky light will have a big impact on your CPU so lower those if you use them.
